Introducing the OrcaTorch D520, a compact yet potent diving light that slips effortlessly into the palm of your hand. Built with a highly reliable mechanical rotary switch, this device ensures a trustworthy performance underwater. The D520 utilizes the superior CREE XM-L2 (U4) neutral white LED from the USA, with a top output of 1000 lumens and a color temperature of 5000 Degree K, which offers incredible color fidelity under water.

Running on a single 18650 battery, the D520 can power through for up to 2 hours, making it your ideal companion for recreational dives as a primary light, and essential backup lighting for deeper explorations. Its robust construction, high water-pressure resistance, and user-friendly design amplify its portability and ease of operation.

With a long-lasting 50,000-hour LED life expectancy, the D520 delivers a generous 72 Degree wide beam with a focused 12 Degree center beam, all thanks to its professional-grade alloy aluminum reflector. The light is depth-rated to 490' (150m), and features built-in reverse polarity protection, low voltage warning, and over-discharge protection, ensuring safety and longevity.

Designed from type III military-grade, high-strength, aircraft aluminum material, the D520 exhibits impressive durability. The diamond-grade hard-anodized seawater-corrosion-resistant finish and toughened 0.16" (4mm) double-coated glass lens add to its ruggedness and resilience.

In the package, you will find a spare O-ring, lanyard, 18650 battery, charger, and an owner's manual. At a compact size of 5.3" x 0.94" (134.5mm x 24mm) and a weight of 4 oz. (113.5 g) without battery, the OrcaTorch D520 is ready to shine the way on your next underwater adventure.

Questions about this item:

Ari H  I am just after the charger for this light, where can I purchase?
Scuba.com Staff  Any of the vape shops most of the stuff they use runs on the 18650 3.7volt battery
Mario C  Thank you for your question. The link below is for the charger. https://www.leisurepro.com/p-blroc/orcatorch-c108-battery-charger BLROC
KATHY V  I'm not crazy about leaving my flashlight on for the duration of my dive. Is it safe for the flashlight to turn it on and off throughout the dive?
fred o  I did throughout my week long dive trip without any issues.
BENJAMIN D  I've had no problem turning the lights on and off during a dive. When in the ocean, I do this frequently (works great for looking un reefs). When we did a cavern dive, the dive master asked us to leave the lights on the entire dive. He said to cover the light with your hand or by putting it against our body if you wanted the light gone. The battery lasted fine for two 45 . minute dives being on all the time.
DOUGLAS C  I have had no problem turning this light on and off at depth. Great light!
JIM W  since the housing has o-ring seals its best if you need it a lot to just leave it on.. I have done both on-off during a dive or a cave just leave it on the whole time with no problems
Joseph C  Hi Kathy. It's a great flashlight to use, and I do turn mine off and on when it isn't needed. I just brought it 3 months ago, and I've taken it on all of my dives with no issues of running out of energy doing that. You are not crazy.
Patricia F  I bought one for myself and my wife and we love the lights. We turn the lights on and off during diving. We barely turn the head on and off and have had no problems. The lights have 3 O-Rings. Just rinse and keep clean. Make sure O-Rings are lubricated properly.
DALE E  It has an on/off switch and it's very bright, but small to carry or put in your pocket
SUSAN M  I am currently using this light in Cozumel and I think my fellow divers are happy I'm not leaving it on the entire dive...... it's a very bright light and may bother other divers if it were flashing about! Enjoy
RICHARD B  HI Kathy, I really don't know if it's safe, but when you turn the light on by twisting the bezel it makes the waterproof seal tighter. When you turn it off, if under water, you make the seal looser and vulnerable to water ingress. How much? I don't know, but batteries last a long time when your diving at 45 minutes a dive. It is BRIGHT too. Good luck with your decision.
Brad B  I had no issues turning/twisting it on/off, just need to remember which way to twist/turn
Sabina I  Is the light supposed to heat up really fast?? I just runned it for 5 mins and got really hot.
Stephen S  I have two of these lights, they are really great under water- not for out of water use really- they heat up fast.
Patricia F  I purchased (2) and they are amazing! Spent a week in Barbados (11) dives and 3 days in Key Largo (10) dives. My Wife loves her New Torch! Can't tell if it gets warm underwater???? It does get warm on the surface but not HOT.
AXEL B  Did you do that outside or under the water ? In my case I have been diving with it and turning it on under the water and didn't have any problems with it. I am quiet pleased , considering the size of the lamp, the potency with regards the price it's a great deal in my view .
DALE E  How big is this light? Will it fit in BC pocket?
BENJAMIN D  The Orca 520 dive-light is about 5.5" X 1.25". It has a strap that cinches around your wrist. It can dangle without much distraction while diving. Liesure Pro a wrist strap that allows it to mount on the back of your hand. I just got one but haven't used it yet (search Orca Torch Nylon Wrist Strap for D500 and D500V Lights) to see it).
BRAD M  It will easily fit the BC pocket.
CRISTINA R  It is 6 inches or so, so it depends! I have a Zeagle Zene and I have to extend the pocket to fit it. But it is only until I get in the water, as we use it even during the day to look in crevices and under rocks. Once we found two that work (we got 2 for my husband and they were not turning reasonably easily), we are very happy with them!
MING F  Will fit in most BC pockets. Of course if not you can just clip it to you BC.
Shopper  does this come with a charger?
fred o  Yes, but not a fast one...
CRISTINA R  yes, it does.
HABIB M  yes, very compact
MARY B  Yes, it comes with a charger. (Just make sure that yours also arrives with a battery! Mine didn't, so it had to be shipped separately -- at no extra cost, but some delay.)
RICHARD O  Mine did.
Mike D  No. I picked on up at the local Batteries Plus store.
MING F  Yes the charger is one with a cord.
